Wellness is a popular buzzword in today world but there's more to it than just hype. Every body is different and knowing our own is a worthy task. A wellness consultation is a great way to learn more about yourself and design your own path. As a marathon runner, certified personal trainer, and certified sports consultant I can help provide counseling and guidance as you pursue your version of wellness. I'm ready to help postpartum parents get back into their bodies after birth. We can explore simple motion and basic exercises with babies or get you going on the path to your first race.

Personal Training: Pre-pregnancy, Pregnancy, & Postpartum
I have been a certified personal trainer & sports nutrition consultant since 2015 with specialty training in pregnant and postpartum bodies as well as pelvic floor rehabilitation support. The fitness world can be a pretty intimidating a hostile space. My goals are to research and stay current with evidence based practices in exercise science to support movement goals for all bodies. Count on me to: craft 6 week training plans to help achieve activity goals during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

First Half/Marathon Coaching:
I have 11 full marathons, 27 half-marathons, and well over 25 assorted distances ranging from 5-50K. If you’re dreaming of distance, let’s create a 22-6 week bespoke plan to get you across the finish line. 

Post-birth floor & core consultation:
Exercise is not advised in the first 6 weeks after birth but posture and breathing techniques can have a significant impact on the recovery and restoration of the pelvic floor. Count on me to: review your birth story, practice breathing techniques to support recovery, assess nursery ergonomics to optimize daily use for your benefit, offer referrals to physical therapists, support physical therapist recovery plans. 

Walk & Talk: if you want to move any consultation outside for fresh air or a walk, we can! 

Nutrition consultation:
There’s a lot of misinformation out there about what is healthy. My focus is on nutrition literacy and finding strategies to optimize for nutrition within your context. Vegans and those who are plant based are welcome in my practice as are those who consume animal products. We can talk about how to include more plant based meals into your diet or how to maintain proper nutrition if you're a full time vegan or vegetarian.

What I cannot do: 
I am not a registered dietician and I cannot and will never prescribe a diet or meal plans of any kind. I cannot define or diagnose health. I can provide education, resources, referrals, and decision making support & strategizing.
